Sam Stahlmann
Sam Stahlmann (she/her) is one of our Senior Program Managers, specifically overseeing programming and training at our new LBGTQ+ Youth Center in Minneapolis. She is a Twin Cities-based nonprofiteer, musician and youth champion. She has spent most of her career using arts as a way to challenge gender norms, empower youth, and uplift historically silenced voices. Sam is passionate about creating spaces that uplift queer joy.
Sam has worked in the arts nonprofit world for several years, working with organizations like Metro Regional Arts Council, She Rock She Rock, and KFAI. She is excited to bring her creativity and spreadsheet prowess to the QUEERSPACE team.
Sam plays guitar, bass, and sings in DIY bands. She enjoys touring and traveling with her pals, and in her downtime, she’s an avid crocheter, cook, and cat snuggler. Sam lives in Minneapolis on the future, current and ancestral lands of the Dakota people.
